Entry to Kazakhstan may become paid for foreign nationals
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has prepared draft amendments providing for the introduction of paid electronic entry permits for foreign nationals and stateless persons.
The document has been submitted for public consultation, which will continue until August 17. The amount of the fee has not yet been determined.
The funds are expected to be used to modernise digital infrastructure and ensure the protection of personal data.
The new system may be introduced in stages from August to December of this year.
As of now, the amendments have not yet been adopted.
