Crocodiles Appear on Florida Streets After Heavy Rainfall

A powerful storm and prolonged heavy rainfall in the US state of Florida have caused flooding in residential areas. Following the severe weather, crocodiles began appearing on the streets of populated areas. Local residents have been actively sharing videos of these unusual incidents on social media.

To capture one of the reptiles, specialists used an unusual method. First, they threw a blanket over the animal to cover its eyes, then captured it using special nets.

The situation was caused by widespread flooding along the state's eastern coast. According to Fox Weather, Malabar received 73.5 centimeters of rainfall in just three days, while Palm Bay recorded approximately 71.4 centimeters.
