A ceremonial event marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence was held in the United States

A ceremonial event marking the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence was held in the San Diego area of California, United States.

The event was organised by “Fit International” and attended by representatives of local authorities, the public and the media.

Esen Aydogdyyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the United States, participated in the ceremony. He conveyed his congratulations on the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States and noted that the celebration of the two countries’ independence dates clearly demonstrates the importance of state sovereignty, national identity, peaceful development and mutual respect between states.

During the event, the book by the President of Turkmenistan entitled “Turkmenistan’s Neutrality — the Bright Path of Peace and Trust” was presented.

Kirt Edwards, head of “Fit International”, also attended the event and sincerely congratulated the Turkmen people on Independence Day, wishing them peace, well-being and continued prosperity.
