Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov met with the Secretary-General of the International Congress of Parliamentarians

On August 4, a meeting was held at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Atajan Movlamov and Senator Sitara Ayaz, Secretary-General of the International Congress of Parliamentarians.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the International Congress of Parliamentarians.

Particular attention was paid to strengthening interparliamentary relations, expanding dialogue among parliamentarians of the region, and developing institutional cooperation between the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and the congress.

The parties considered opportunities to organise international conferences, round tables and forums with the participation of members of parliament from Central Asian states.

It was noted that such events would provide an effective platform for advancing parliamentary diplomacy and improving legislative practices.
