A delegation of the Arabian Horse Society is visiting Turkmenistan

A representative delegation headed by Mohamed Ahmed Musleh Al Harbi, Director General of the Arabian Horse Society of the United Arab Emirates, arrived in Ashgabat.

Following official talks at the “Turkmen atlary” State Association, members of the delegation visited the State Museum of Turkmenistan and became acquainted with the cultural treasures of our country.

The delegation also visited the Ashgabat Equestrian Sports Complex, where selected Akhal-Teke horses were presented to the guests.

The head of the UAE delegation noted the distinctive nature of the Turkmen school of horse breeding and emphasised the importance of exchanging professional experience in this strategically significant field.

During the visit, the delegation will travel to Arkadag City, the first “smart city” in the region, and become acquainted with the activities of the Aba Annayev International Academy of Horse Breeding and the Scientific and Production Centre.

A special part of the programme will be attending a performance by the “Galkynysh” National Equestrian Games Group at the Gorogly Circus.

The visit of the UAE delegation to our country will be another step towards strengthening ties between leading centres in implementing joint projects in the field of horse breeding.
