The world’s first judicial artificial intelligence system will be introduced in the United Arab Emirates

The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has unveiled the world’s first fully integrated artificial intelligence-powered judicial platform.

The new system brings all major judicial processes together on a single digital platform.

Artificial intelligence analyses case materials, helps locate laws and judicial precedents, prepares legal advice, assists in drafting documents and accelerates case-processing times.

As before, the final decision in each case is made solely by a judge.

Artificial intelligence performs only an assisting role and does not replace human judgement in judicial decision-making.
