New Device Developed to Remove Excess Glucose
Researchers have introduced a new electronic device designed to help remove excess glucose through the kidneys and influence metabolism. This technology could open an entirely new chapter in diabetes treatment.
Laboratory tests showed that the device worked rapidly and effectively. Blood sugar levels returned to normal within just one hour. The body began using fats more actively as a source of energy. Researchers also observed reductions in body weight and blood triglyceride levels.
The implant contains a glucose sensor and communicates with a smartphone. When blood sugar levels rise, the device activates automatically. Once glucose levels return to normal, it switches itself off. All of this takes place without insulin injections.
Although the results are promising, the technology remains in the experimental stage. This means the findings do not yet demonstrate that the device can safely and completely treat diabetes or obesity in humans.
Nevertheless, this scientific breakthrough could significantly change future approaches to diabetes treatment and metabolic regulation.
