Kiribati Fishermen Rescue Young Man Who Spent 41 Days at Sea Without Food or Water

A young man who spent 41 days at sea without food or water was rescued by fishermen from Kiribati.

He had gone out to sea with his cousin Samuel, who was from one of the neighboring countries. The incident began several weeks ago when the two set out from a local coast to fish, but their boat suddenly broke down.

With no necessary equipment on board, the vessel gradually drifted farther and farther from shore.

After many difficult days at sea, their boat was eventually found by local fishermen.

The young man, whose health had seriously deteriorated, was taken to hospital and is currently continuing treatment under medical supervision.
