Oil Prices Rise
Global oil prices increased. Brent crude rose by 0.1% to $101.34 per barrel, while WTI increased by 0.5% to $96.55. The day before, Brent had risen by 3.4% and WTI by 3.25%.
The increase in oil prices is linked to the situation in the Middle East. The U.S. Energy Information Administration forecasts that oil prices will continue to rise both this year and next year, Reuters reported.
