“Arkadag” and “Al-Muharraq” held a press conference ahead of their AFC Champions League Two match

The football clubs “Arkadag” of Turkmenistan and “Al-Muharraq” of Bahrain held a press conference at Arkadag Stadium ahead of their first group-stage match in the AFC Champions League Two tournament.

The head coaches and players of both teams took part in the press conference.

The match between “Arkadag” and “Al-Muharraq” will take place on September 15 at the same stadium and will kick off at 18:45 local time.

This match will open the group stage campaign for the Turkmen team. “Arkadag” competes in Group B alongside Bahrain’s “Al-Muharraq”, Iran’s “Gol Gohar”, and the United Arab Emirates’ “Al Jazira”.

The group stage of the 2026/2027 AFC Champions League Two season will continue until December 9. After that, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
