Who Do You Think Could Be Appointed Head Coach of Fenerbahçe?

Former Liverpool star forward Dirk Kuyt has begun working at the Istanbul club as interim head coach.

After former coach Ismail Kartal left his position following a 2–1 defeat to Galatasaray, it was officially announced that Kuyt, who had previously been working as an assistant, would take charge of the team.

The Dutch specialist will take charge of his first match on October 31 against Göztepe in the Süper Lig. He will then host his former club Liverpool in the Champions League on November 4.

Kuyt previously enjoyed successful spells with Liverpool (2006–2012) and Fenerbahçe (2011–2015), and also won the Turkish championship.

The team is currently 5th in the domestic league and trails the leader by 6 points.

Kuyt will remain in charge until a new permanent head coach is appointed.
