Scientists have explained that fast charging can contribute to the deterioration of smartphone and laptop batteries.

Fast-charging technologies may accelerate battery wear in smartphones and laptops. To compensate for the potential damage caused by fast charging, modern devices use batteries with modified designs.

Despite advances in technology, experts recommend following several rules to extend battery life. It is considered optimal to use devices at a temperature of approximately 20–25 degrees Celsius and to keep the charge level between 20% and 80%.

Scientists also advise against leaving laptops continuously connected to the power supply, as keeping a battery fully charged for long periods may accelerate its degradation.
