Building Constructed in Less Than 29 Hours

Chinese specialists have achieved a major breakthrough in the construction industry. According to «New Atlas», a new 10-story building was fully assembled in just 28 hours and 45 minutes. The project was carried out by «Broad Group» using its innovative modular technology called «Living Building». Its main feature is that the building’s key components are manufactured in advance under factory conditions.

Once the finished modules are delivered to the construction site, they are connected together much like a children’s construction set. Since the modules are sized to match standard freight containers, they are also easy to transport. During the factory stage, windows, thermal insulation, electrical wiring and ventilation systems are installed in advance.

Construction workers only need to position the modules in the required order using cranes, fasten them with bolts and connect them to the building’s utility systems.
