How Does the Human Brain Store Information?!
The mechanism of human memory and its remarkable processes in the brain are based on communication between neurons and the important role played by the hippocampus.
Our brain does more than simply collect information — it also carefully analyzes and filters it. Every time we learn something new, billions of nerve cells form strong networks with one another through electrical and chemical signals.
Information is first stored in short-term memory, which may last from just a few seconds to several minutes. Depending on a person’s experiences and emotional state, events can be stored more deeply and remain in memory for a longer period.
To strengthen memory consistently, sufficient sleep, a healthy diet, regular repetition and exercises that stimulate thinking are important.
