A reception was held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Tajikistan’s independence

A solemn reception was held in the capital of Turkmenistan to mark the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan T. Atahallyyev, diplomats, representatives of international organizations, and members of the Tajik diaspora.

On behalf of the Turkmen side, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev conveyed congratulations and highlighted the centuries-old friendship, spiritual ties, and the coincidence of the two countries’ positions in the international arena, particularly within the United Nations.

He emphasized that relations based on the principles of mutual trust between the heads of state contribute to finding effective and mutually beneficial solutions.

The festive event once again confirmed the two countries’ commitment to deepening strategic cooperation and strengthening good-neighborly relations.
