Robots will now produce robots

The world’s first “smart” manufacturing facility that produces humanoid robots has started operating in southern China.

The factory is designed to produce 10,000 robots per year. According to representatives of UBTECH Robotics, one humanoid robot is manufactured every ten minutes at the facility.

The factory implements the concept of “robots producing robots.” All operations are coordinated by a digital “brain.”

The facility has also created the world’s first fully automated stereoscopic warehouse for humanoid robots. It covers an area of only 65 square meters and can accommodate 112 robots.
