The world’s tallest horse reaches nearly 2 meters in height

A horse named Hugo, living in Northamptonshire, United Kingdom, has been officially recognized as the tallest horse in the world. His height at the withers reaches 199 centimeters. Moreover, he is still continuing to grow.

To accurately measure four-year-old Hugo’s height, a veterinarian measured him without horseshoes. According to his owner Brett Masters, Hugo may continue growing until around the age of 8.5 years.

Special attention is paid to Hugo’s health. He is regularly monitored by a veterinarian, a dental specialist, and experts in bones, joints, and massage therapy.

The horse’s teeth are checked twice a year. Due to the rapid growth of his bones, veterinarians examine him frequently. His diet is also kept under strict supervision.
