Xiaomi Camera Can Now Record Even in Complete Darkness

Xiaomi has introduced the Smart Camera 5 Pro Full-Color Night Vision home camera, which can record color video even in complete darkness.

The device is equipped with two lenses, 4K video recording, on-device artificial intelligence, and a mechanism capable of rotating nearly 360°.

Color night vision is provided by 8-megapixel and 4-megapixel sensors, enhanced light sensitivity, soft illumination, and image-processing algorithms.

The camera supports continuous video recording, human detection, and recording of specific events.

On-device AI with computing power of up to 1.5 TOPS allows part of the data to be analyzed directly on the device.

The camera can recognize people and pets and can even respond to a baby’s cry.
