AirPods 5 Now Support Live Translation

Apple has unveiled a new generation of its popular accessories: AirPods 5 wireless earbuds, as well as the Apple Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 smartwatches. All devices will go on sale on September 18.

The earbuds will be offered in two versions. The new generation retains its familiar design but has received significant improvements similar to those of AirPods Pro. The main update is that both versions feature active noise cancellation (ANC). The earbuds also support the Live Translations feature through seamless integration with Apple Intelligence.

The key update for both smartwatch models is a new Health Sensing System sensor suite based on the S11 processor. The watches measure heart rate every five seconds, while frequent monitoring of heart rate variability (HRV) enables more accurate tracking of stress and physical recovery.

Another new feature is a readiness score. The watches analyze a user’s recent activity, workouts, health indicators and sleep quality, assign a score from 0 to 10, and then provide relevant recommendations.
