Turkmen doctors successfully perform kidney transplants

Thirteen patients who underwent kidney transplant surgery performed by doctors at the Multidisciplinary Hospital of Arkadag City continue to lead active lives.

The hospital’s doctors have also successfully performed several other complex operations for the first time.

Turkmenistan has now created all the necessary conditions for conducting organ and tissue transplant surgeries.

To study international best practices, national specialists regularly undergo advanced training at leading foreign clinics. They learn kidney transplantation techniques and acquire the necessary practical skills.
