President of Turkmenistan Receives Head of Toyo Engineering Corporation

On November 3, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Eiji Hosoi, President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of Toyo Engineering Corporation, who arrived in the country on a visit.

During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Turkmenistan and Japan are of a long-term strategic nature. These relations are based on the principles of mutual respect and mutual support.

The President of Turkmenistan emphasized the significant contribution of major Japanese companies to realizing the economic potential of cooperation between the two countries. He noted that joint projects have been implemented in Turkmenistan’s gas and chemical industries for many years, and that effective cooperation has been established with Toyo Engineering Corporation in the oil and gas and chemical sectors. The Head of State also highlighted the construction and commissioning of a major gas-chemical facility — the polymer plant in Kiyanly — with the participation of the company.

The businessman once again expressed gratitude for the favorable conditions created for effective operations in the Turkmen market and assured that the company under his leadership would take a responsible approach to fulfilling its contractual obligations.
