International Scientific and Practical Conference Held

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, an international scientific and practical conference entitled “Stages of Development of Statehood, the Legal System and Democracy in Neutral Turkmenistan” was held in the conference hall of the Palace of Justice.

The event was attended by representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries, sectoral agencies and public organizations, as well as professors, lecturers and trainees of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, university students, and heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations operating in the country.

The speeches emphasized that large-scale work is currently being carried out to further modernize the national legislative system and harmonize it with generally recognized norms of international law.
