Apple’s New CEO Plans to Launch New Products More Than Twice a Year
Apple’s new CEO, John Ternus, who took office on September 1 this year, plans to carry out a large-scale restructuring of the company aimed at accelerating product development and expanding its range of devices.
The company’s new chief believes that, to remain competitive in the era of artificial intelligence, Apple needs to bring new products to market faster and experiment with them more actively.
Apple is currently exploring ways to introduce new products more frequently throughout the year instead of relying heavily on its traditional spring and fall presentations. At the same time, the company is considering eliminating some middle-management roles and reducing the distance between engineers and senior executives.
