iPhone Duo Screens Have Started Cracking

Some newly released foldable “iPhone Duo” phones have developed cracks in their folding displays, and Apple has confirmed the issue.

Cracks have begun appearing on the inner screens of some recently sold devices, specifically along the central folding line.

Users whose displays have been damaged are advised to contact AppleCare support directly to request a replacement. Having the extended AppleCare+ warranty is not required.

iFixit and other technology experts suggest that certain components around the fold may be putting excessive pressure on the display.

However, the company has not yet determined the exact cause of the issue.
