Halk Maslahaty Meeting Held in Ashgabat

A regular meeting of the Halk Maslahaty, the country’s highest representative body operating on the basis of the Constitution of Turkmenistan and representing the interests of the people, was held in Ashgabat.

The meeting took place at the “Maslahat Koshgi” Palace and was chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The meeting was attended by members of the Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and sectoral agencies, honorary elders, representatives of public organizations, mass media, and the country’s public.

The previous meeting of the Halk Maslahaty was held in Ashgabat on September 19, 2025.

Addressing the participants, Hero-Arkadag noted that the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was being held in accordance with noble traditions during the celebrations of the glorious 35th anniversary of the sacred Independence of the independent and permanently neutral Homeland.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that enormous work had been carried out during the years of Independence, that Turkmenistan had become one of the respected and strong states of the world, and that the country had achieved significant milestones in political and diplomatic, socio-economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. He also noted that in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, Turkmenistan continues its dynamic development with confidence.

Hero-Arkadag expressed firm confidence that the Independence celebrations would further strengthen national pride in the beloved Homeland and inspire new achievements and higher goals.
