XXVII Meeting of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen Held

The XXVII meeting of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen was held at the Center of Public Organizations. The event clearly demonstrated the steady strengthening of ties with compatriots living in different countries around the world, as well as their sincere pride in the large-scale reforms being carried out in their historical Homeland, the significant achievements attained, and the glorious 35th anniversary of Independence.

In accordance with the agenda, participants discussed the results of the activities of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen and the tasks ahead in developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation among Turkmen communities worldwide under the leadership of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, President of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen Hero-Arkadag, and Arkadagly Hero Serdar. Speeches were also delivered on the issues included in the agenda.

Representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Germany, and Iran gave detailed accounts of the activities of the Association’s foreign branches. They noted that every visit to Turkmenistan allows them to witness impressive development and that they are especially proud that the years of Independence have transformed not only Ashgabat, the capital of their historical Homeland, but the entire country beyond recognition.

A ceremony was then held to award Certificates of Honor to active members of the Humanitarian Association of World Turkmen. At the conclusion of the meeting, an Address to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was adopted.

After the meeting, a concert by masters of culture and art was held to mark the glorious 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Independence.
