Garabogaz–Kazakhstan Section of Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan Highway Officially Opened

With the participation of the President of Turkmenistan via a live video link, an opening ceremony was held for the Garabogaz–Kazakhstan section of the Turkmenbashi–Garabogaz–Kazakhstan highway.

The modern highway has a roadbed width of 27.5 meters. Its carriageway consists of two traffic directions, each 9 meters wide. To ensure road safety and comfortable travel, the design includes a 3.5-meter-wide central dividing strip and 3-meter-wide shoulders on both sides of the road.

The highway was constructed in accordance with international standards.
