Prime Minister of Armenia to Make a Working Visit to Turkmenistan

Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will soon pay a working visit to Turkmenistan.

This was announced by Armenia’s Ambassador to Ashgabat Arsen Avakyan during a reception held on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence.

According to him, the visit will create additional opportunities for continuing political dialogue between the two countries and developing practical cooperation.

A reciprocal visit by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Yerevan is also expected. The visit will be timed to coincide with the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Armenia in 2026.
