President of Turkmenistan Congratulates Turkmen People on Harvest Festival

Every year, on the second Sunday of November, Turkmenistan widely celebrates Hasyl Toyy, the Harvest Festival, symbolizing abundance and prosperity. The President of Turkmenistan congratulated the country's hardworking farmers, skilled agricultural producers, and all compatriots on this occasion.

In his congratulatory message, the head of state emphasized that extensive efforts are being undertaken in the country to develop the agricultural sector, strengthen its material and technical infrastructure, introduce advanced technologies into production, and ensure food abundance.

The President of Turkmenistan particularly noted that this year the country's grain farmers delivered more than 1.4 million tonnes of wheat to the nation's grain reserves.

The head of state also emphasized that favorable conditions would continue to be created for agricultural workers, cotton growers, grain farmers, agronomists, and gardeners to work efficiently and achieve abundant harvests. Modern agricultural machinery, equipment, and tools will continue to be purchased regularly, while sufficient supplies of mineral fertilizers and high-quality seeds will be ensured. It was also specifically noted that payments to producers for delivered harvests would be made on time.

“Every effort will be made to work productively while benefiting from the opportunities, support, assistance, and privileges provided by our state. Particular attention will be paid to ensuring that the work of Turkmen farmers receives the recognition it deserves. Our state will continue to create all the necessary conditions for our hardworking farmers, who know how to obtain abundant harvests from fertile land, to prosper through honest labor, enjoy the fruits of their work, and live peaceful and happy lives,” the head of state stated.

At the conclusion of his congratulatory message, the President of Turkmenistan wished the country's skilled agricultural workers great success in their efforts toward the further prosperity of the nation and in their continued preservation of the farming traditions inherited from their ancestors.
