UNICEF will hold training seminars from August 19 to 22

The UNICEF Office in Turkmenistan will participate in the “KIDS EXPO 2026: Everything for Children” international exhibition-fair, which will be held in Ashgabat from August 19 to 22 this year. As part of the event, the organisation will present an educational programme dedicated to children’s early development, nutrition and health.

The training programme will cover topics including “The First 1,000 Days of Life: The Best Start for Every Child”, “Confidence in Breastfeeding”, “Nutrition for Healthy Development: Proper Nutrition after the Introduction of Complementary Foods”, “Warning Signs in Children: When to Seek Medical Help”, and “Child Brain Development and Positive Parenting”.

Participants will be able to learn more about the principles of breastfeeding, healthy nutrition for young children, early development, positive parenting and creating a supportive family environment.
