A Roadmap is being developed in our country to implement the National Programme “Healthy Mother — Healthy Child — Healthy Future”

The Ashgabat Office of the United Nations Population Fund, jointly with the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, held a meeting of the coordinating council on preparing a Roadmap for the implementation of the National Programme “Healthy Mother — Healthy Child — Healthy Future” for 2026–2030.

The meeting was organised within the framework of implementing the United Nations Population Fund Country Programme for 2026–2030.

Representatives of the main relevant institutions within Turkmenistan’s healthcare system took part in the council’s work.

During the meeting, the participants reviewed the main objectives and priority areas of the National Programme, developed the structure and key sections of the Roadmap, discussed target indicators and agreed on its monitoring mechanisms.
