“Turkmengaz” and “Afghan Gas” signed a Memorandum of Understanding

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Turkmengaz State Concern and Afghanistan’s state-owned Afghan Gas corporation.

The signing ceremony took place during Hero Arkadag’s working visit to Afghanistan.

The document opens a new chapter in relations between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan in the gas sector.

Under the Memorandum, the parties agreed to work jointly on developing gas infrastructure in Herat Province and supplying industrial enterprises, power plants and the population with Turkmen gas.
