A conference dedicated to the Resolution entitled “2028 — International Year of Law” was held

On August 2, a conference dedicated to the Resolution entitled “2028 — International Year of Law”, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly at the initiative of Turkmenistan, was held at the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The conference was attended by senior officials and staff members of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, scholars and lecturers from the Institute of State, Law and Democracy of Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the International University for the Humanities and Development, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, as well as students.

As noted during the conference, the adoption of this Resolution once again clearly demonstrates Turkmenistan’s firm commitment to the principles of statehood, justice and the rule of law.

The speakers emphasised that Turkmenistan, which follows the principles of permanent neutrality, peaceful coexistence and good-neighbourliness, enjoys high standing at both the regional and global levels.
