Areas for the further development of Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations were considered

A. Gochmyradov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Tajikistan, met with Muhammad Rashid Al-Amiri, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait, who paid an introductory visit on the occasion of assuming his diplomatic post.

During the meeting, the parties noted that Turkmen-Kuwaiti relations are being steadily strengthened thanks to the constant attention and support of the Heads of the two States.

The Ambassador of the State of Kuwait expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for its support in organising the safe transit of Kuwaiti citizens through the territory of Turkmenistan in connection with the situation that has developed in the Middle East region.

Particular emphasis was placed on Turkmenistan’s unwavering commitment to the principles of humanitarianism, good-neighbourliness and constructive international cooperation.

The Turkmen side briefed the interlocutor on the slogan of 2026, “Independent, Eternally Neutral Turkmenistan — the Homeland of Swift Horses, the Fulfilment of Dreams”, as well as on the events being held in Turkmenistan and abroad to mark the 35th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s independence.

At the end of the meeting, the guest was presented with the book “There is Loyalty in the Horse, and Joy in the Journey” by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Hero-Arkadag.
