The Chairperson of the Mejlis met with the EU Ambassador completing his mission in Ashgabat

Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova met with Beata Pęksa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the European Union to Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the parties highly praised cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union in the political and diplomatic, trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Attention was drawn to the effective nature of cooperation established in such areas as sustainable development, energy, ecology, science and education, the creation of transit transport corridors, and the strengthening of trade and economic relations.

D. Gulmanova expressed gratitude to Ambassador Beata Pęksa for her significant contribution to strengthening interparliamentary cooperation during her diplomatic service in the country.
