New Areas of Turkmen-Chinese Agricultural Cooperation Identified

A Turkmen-Chinese meeting focused on strengthening agricultural cooperation was held at the Archabil Hotel. The meeting took place during the visit to Turkmenistan of a delegation led by Erkin Tuniyaz, chairman of the People’s Government of China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The parties discussed innovation and digitalization in the agricultural sector, cotton cultivation and raw material processing, seed production, crop breeding, environmental protection and water conservation.

Particular attention was given to arranging regular exchange visits between agricultural experts and specialists from Turkmenistan and China.
