An electronic advance information exchange system for vehicles and goods has been launched between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan

Since August this year, Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan have introduced the electronic exchange of advance information on goods and vehicles crossing between the two countries.

The exchange of advance information is carried out through information systems in accordance with an agreement between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the technical terms of that agreement.

The mutual electronic exchange of data further improves the quality and reliability of bilateral trade statistics between the two countries.
