The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is on a working visit to the Republic of Indonesia

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov has begun a working visit to the Republic of Indonesia.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmet Gurbanov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Muhammad Anis Matta.

During the meeting, particular attention was paid to cooperation between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries.

The prospects for cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) were also discussed.

Turkmenistan’s interest in consistently developing cooperation with the Association, as well as the significance of the initiative to establish a “Central Asia + ASEAN” dialogue format, were noted.
