In the first six months of this year, cashless turnover in Turkmenistan exceeded 9 billion manats

The total volume of cashless turnover through bank cards in Turkmenistan exceeded 9 billion 45 million 806 thousand manats in January–June of this year. This was reported in the electronic journal Bank News, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.

During January–June, the total volume of cashless payments made through terminals reached 7 billion 104 million 222 thousand 304 manats.

According to the Central Bank, transactions worth more than 1 billion 512 million 61 thousand 279 manats were conducted through e-commerce systems, while cashless payments exceeding 50 million 134 thousand 264 manats were made through the Mobile Bank system.

In addition, the total volume of cashless payments made through ATMs exceeded 245 million 386 thousand 415 manats, while transactions through the Internet Bank system surpassed 4 million 471 thousand 245 manats.

The bank also reported that cashless turnover of more than 129 million 530 thousand 541 manats was carried out through the Halkbank Terminal system.
