The 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in South Korea has concluded
The 48th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee officially concluded in Busan, South Korea.
Around 3,000 representatives from 196 UNESCO member states attended the session.
Turkmenistan was represented at the forum by Chynar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, and Begenc Durdyyev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea.
The Busan Declaration was adopted following the session.
The Committee’s next session will be held in Istanbul from June 27 to July 7.
