Seasonal work is being carried out effectively in Turkmenistan’s agricultural sector and regions

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyyev reported on the progress of seasonal activities in the agricultural sector and the regions during a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via a digital system on July 24.

Currently, as part of seasonal agricultural work in the regions, cotton fields are being maintained in accordance with agrotechnical standards, including inter-row cultivation and vegetation irrigation.

As part of preparations for the cotton harvesting season, relevant work is being carried out to prepare cotton harvesters, other agricultural machinery, cotton-processing enterprises, cotton collection points, and equipment that will be used to transport the harvest.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the importance of continuing the comprehensive development of the agricultural sector, carrying out timely maintenance of cotton fields, and fully preparing cotton-processing enterprises and vehicles used to transport the harvest for the season.

The head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to effectively continue the work to prepare land for the sowing campaign for next year’s wheat harvest.
