An exhibition of Turkmen products was held in Tbilisi
A travelling exhibition of products made in Turkmenistan was held at the Expo Georgia exhibition centre in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The exhibition covered an area of 592 square metres and featured stands from 17 ministries and government agencies of Turkmenistan, as well as 42 private enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Various food products, textiles, chemicals and industrial goods bearing the “Made in Turkmenistan” label were displayed.
The exhibition also presented equipment and spare parts for the industrial and agricultural sectors, construction materials, electronics, household goods, textiles and food products.
The pavilions highlighted ongoing efforts to modernise and diversify the national economy, the priority areas of state programmes and the significance of major projects being implemented.
Separate sections of the exhibition were devoted to achievements in trade and the food industry, products of the Ministry of Textile Industry, and carpets and carpet products made by enterprises of the Turkmenhaly State Association and private entrepreneurs.
Guests were also shown handicrafts by folk artisans, traditional clothing and jewellery.
