An investment forum will be held in Turkmenistan in October

At a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held via a digital system on July 24, the President of Turkmenistan approved a proposal to hold the Turkmenistan Investment Forum in Ashgabat in October 2026.

During the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Hojamyrat Geldimyradov reported on preparations for the Turkmenistan Investment Forum.

The forum and its related events are expected to address Turkmenistan’s economic development and investment attractiveness, the main areas of the fuel and energy and industrial sectors, as well as issues concerning the development of reliable transport and communications systems.

After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan noted that effective work is being carried out to attract foreign investment to the national economy and develop international cooperation in this field.

The head of state supported the proposal to hold the Turkmenistan Investment Forum in Ashgabat in October of this year and instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to carry out the relevant preparations for the upcoming event.
