A new gas flow has been obtained in Mary

Turkmen gas specialists working in Mary Velayat obtained a new gas flow as a result of drilling to a depth of 2,916 metres. The gas was produced from underground formations located at depths of 2,860 and 2,858 metres, with a daily output exceeding 700,000 cubic metres.

With its abundant natural resources, Turkmenistan ranks among the world’s leading energy-producing countries. The key tasks set by the esteemed President for the enterprises and institutions operating in this sector include increasing the production, processing and export of hydrocarbon resources, attracting and efficiently using investment, and diversifying the routes for supplying Turkmen energy resources to global markets.

The new gas flow complements the large-scale work being carried out in the country’s fuel and energy sector and creates broad opportunities to establish reliable and sustainable systems for delivering Turkmenistan’s energy resources to international markets.
