A Turkmen-Uzbek business forum was held in Ashgabat
A Turkmen-Uzbek business forum was held in the capital, Ashgabat.
During the forum, representatives of government agencies and business communities from both countries discussed expanding industrial cooperation, increasing mutual trade and implementing joint investment projects.
More than 40 companies participated in the event.
During the forum, Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Ravshanbek Alimov expressed gratitude to the Turkmen side for organising the event and noted the high level of representation among the participants.
The diplomat emphasised that the production of construction materials is one of the promising areas of cooperation, taking into account the large-scale urban development and infrastructure modernisation programmes being implemented in both countries.
He also expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero-Arkadag, for supporting the development of bilateral economic relations and creating favourable conditions for entrepreneurs from both countries.
