Iran’s Supreme Leader was commemorated in Ashgabat

A memorial event dedicated to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, was held at the Cultural Centre of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.

The event was attended by Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Turkmenistan; Abdolreza Abbasi, the embassy’s cultural adviser; teachers and students of the Cultural Centre’s Persian-language courses; and representatives of the mass media.

During the event, teachers and students of the Persian-language courses read articles and poems dedicated to the memory of Khamenei.

Video materials about his life and work were also shown, verses from the Quran were recited, and prayers were offered.
