Construction of the TAPI gas pipeline continues in Afghanistan
The construction of a 106-kilometer section of the TAPI gas pipeline, which is steadily continuing in the Herat province of Afghanistan, has been completed. Out of the 153-kilometer route of the project in Afghanistan, 127 kilometers have been prepared for construction work.
Additionally, underground pipe laying work has been completed on a 36-kilometer section of the pipeline.
The TAPI project is one of the important regional energy projects initiated by Turkmenistan and is aimed at developing energy cooperation as well as strengthening economic relations in the region.
