Turkmen representatives took part in a training seminar held in China

A representative of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan took part in a training seminar on the World Trade Organization held in Beijing, Fuxin and Fuzhou in the People’s Republic of China.

The main purpose of the training seminar, organised by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, was to support the implementation of tasks related to Turkmenistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization, exchange experience in international trade, and improve the professional qualifications and awareness of specialists from the country’s relevant agencies.

The training seminar was held at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.

Participants were introduced to China’s experience in joining the World Trade Organization and protecting its national interests within the organisation, as well as modern methods of managing free economic zones.
