The 9th meeting of the Turkmen-Azerbaijani Joint Intergovernmental Commission was held

The 9th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan was held in Ashgabat. The meeting was attended by Nokerguly Atagulyýev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, on the Turkmen side, and Mikail Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, on the Azerbaijani side. During the meeting, the parties discussed the initiative to establish a Turkmen-Azerbaijani Business Council. Following the conclusions of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan, envisaging the strengthening of cooperation in areas such as trade and economy, energy, transport, agriculture, food security, environmental protection, and water management.
