School students from our country performed successfully at the International Mathematics Olympiad

Turkmen school students performed successfully at the Turkic International Mathematical Olympiad – TIMO 2026, held in Baku, winning one bronze medal and three Honorable Mention awards.

The bronze medal was won by Ayhan Orazdurdyyev, a fourth-grade student at the A. S. Pushkin Turkmen-Russian Joint General Education School.

The Honorable Mention awards were received by Alymuhammet Orazov from Ashgabat and Ayjeren Muhammetnazarova and Gulshat Muhammetnazarova from Mary.

The Olympiad brought together school students from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, the Philippines, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Uzbekistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Türkiye and Turkmenistan.
